The Emerging Professionals Initiative Committee has opened my world to wonderful possibilities. Not only has this group introduced me to some wonderful people, I have benefited from participating in their events. The Oh the Places You Can Go series allowed me and others from my network to share their stories. Overall, this group is very rewarding!
I’ve been a member of the Emerging Professionals Initiative Committee for 3 years, and I’m excited we are bringing back in-person events, specifically the Young Professionals Conference. I love having the opportunity to meet other young CPAs in Colorado to build my network. Because the Emerging Professionals Initiative Committee is tailored specifically to young professionals and focuses on durable skills more than technical skills, it is my favorite way to obtain CPE through the Society.
