If you're in the early stages of your accounting career, you’ve probably heard some version of this advice: “Your network is everything.” And it’s true—but building that network can feel awkward, forced, or just plain boring when the only option is another traditional happy hour.
That’s where EPIC comes in.
The Emerging Professionals Initiative Committee (EPIC) was created by and for COCPA members who are in the early chapters of their professional lives. Whether working toward licensure or trying to figure out your next step, EPIC is a space for you to build connections, grow your leadership skills, and just enjoy being a part of a professional community.
Our next event is the perfect example:

We'll bring Spikeball, cornhole, and snacks. You bring yourself—and maybe a friend or coworker who could use a break and a good conversation. Not a COCPA member yet? That’s okay! Reach out and we’ll cover registration for first-timers.
Whether you’re new to the profession or just new to Colorado, EPIC events are an easy way to plug in, meet great people, and stay connected to the bigger picture of your career.
