The white paper, Re-inventing finance for a digital world, tells the story of the research underpinning our views on how new competencies are emerging in a digital world. It describes their implications for finance professionals, employers, academics and tuition providers, and regulators and policy makers. Our findings come from three phases of research that engaged with more than 5,500 finance professionals from over 2,000 organizations in over 150 countries.
Our core finding is this – in a digital world, the focus of the finance function is shifting from being based on costs to being based on organizational value.
