Running your own practice can feel isolating, but it doesn’t have to. This IAA meetup is your chance to connect with fellow independent accountants, share experiences, and get practical answers to the challenges you’re facing right now.

Who Should Attend:

Independent accounting professionals: whether you’re running an established practice, just starting out, or exploring the idea of leaving a firm. CPAs and non-CPAs alike are welcome.

• Bailey Smith is a licensed CPA with over 20 years of experience in both public accounting and private industry.  She has worked with many industries, including manufacturing, construction, and franchises, but her passion is employee benefit plans!  Bailey is the owner of Sopris Accounting Solutions, LLC, which offers outsourced accounting for small to mid-sized professional service companies, as well as retirement plan audit support for large companies. With a focus on a personal touch, she seeks to understand her clients and their businesses to become a trusted advisor in all their financial matters.  Bailey is also the founder of The Bailey Group, a collaborative network of firm owners and independent advisors who provide a wide range of accounting and financial services, where members share ideas, best practices, preferred vendors, and trusted referrals.
