Running your own practice can feel isolating, but it doesn’t have to. This IAA meetup is your chance to connect with fellow independent accountants, share experiences, and get practical answers to the challenges you’re facing right now.

Bring your questions, challenges, and ideas for an open forum discussion. We will discuss the topics on your mind, which could include:

• When does it make sense to grow, and when should you stay small?
• Scope creep: how to spot it, reset terms, and protect your margins
• Why peers started their firms (and how it’s going for them)
• Planning for the rest of the year and strategies for 2026

Who Should Attend:

Independent accounting professionals: whether you’re running an established practice, just starting out, or exploring the idea of leaving a firm. CPAs and non-CPAs alike are welcome.
