Looking for an easy and engaging way to keep abreast of the latest tax law changes while connecting with your CPA peers from across Colorado as tax season gets underway? Consider participating in the COCPA Tax Study Groups to ask questions, find answers, engage in discussion, and share experiences with your tax-focused colleagues from around the state.
Open to tax practitioners of any experience level and working in any setting, the groups are now fully virtual and free to COCPA members. Choose the day and duration that bests fits your schedule, or participate in both:
Patti Locke, CPA (Retired), who worked for a small firm for 39 years before becoming a part owner and ultimately retiring, continues to participate in the groups in order to keep up on new tax rules and regulations for the benefit of a few tax returns that she still prepares. “I still participate because I also like the interaction with other CPAs, many of whom I’ve known for the duration of my career,” she says.
Bring your ideas, experiences, questions, and client-service concerns regarding federal, state, and local taxes, and participate in this free-flowing roundtable conversation. Click here to learn more, or contact Stacy Svendsen at stacy@cocpa.org.
