Effective May 1, 2024, the 2024-25 COCPA Board of Directors begins its term, with Tobias “Toby” Clary, CPA, assuming the Chair role.
Clary, who is a shareholder with Soukup, Bush & Associates, CPAs, P.C., Fort Collins, is passionate about the profession and its role in the community, and is deeply committed to giving back to the profession that has given so much to him.
“Choosing this career was one of the best decisions of my life,” he says, “and I am so grateful that life has taken me down this path.”
Clary has served in a wide variety of roles within the COCPA, including on the Board of Directors, as an Educational Foundation trustee, Audit Committee member, and, in 2022, CEO Search Committee member. He is a 2015 LeadFit graduate and was honored in 2013 as a COCPA Everyday Hero.
Clary’s volunteerism extends to his community as well. Among the organizations that have benefitted from Toby’s service and expertise are Partners Mentoring Youth, Northern Colorado United for Youth, North Forty, the Colorado State University Accounting Advisory Board, the Intuit Professional Tax Advisory Committee, and the National Society of Certified Healthcare Business Consultants.
Alexandra Tune, CPA, begins her term, also on May 1, as COCPA Vice Chair/Chair-Elect. Tune is managing director, audit and assurance, Deloitte, Denver.
