Published this week, the list "is a compilation of the finest CPAs active in public practice, culled from a collection of candidates sourced through independent nominations and accolades from every society and association of CPAs," Forbes editor Steel Rose writes. "Nominees were rated on a range of weighted criteria, including expertise, innovation, thought leadership, experience, and service to the community and to their profession, as well as responses to selected questions."
Among those honored are the following:
"I understand the dedication and hard work CPAs invest daily, often without the recognition they truly deserve. That's why it brings me immense joy to celebrate the exceptional achievements of two COCPA members who have been nationally recognized as Forbes 2024 America's Top 200 CPAs. Their demonstrated excellence not only brings pride to our Colorado CPA community, but also elevates the public's trust in the accounting profession and serves as an inspiration to those considering accounting as a future career path. Congratulations to Angela and Tammy, and their teams at Plante Moran and FORVIS, for their well-deserved honor!"
