On Jan. 25, 2024, at the inaugural COCPA PAC the House event, members joined Society President and CEO Alicia Gelinas, CPA, on a visit to the Colorado State Capitol to meet with legislators from both parties on behalf of the accounting profession.

These members, all donors to the CPA-PAC, met with Sens. Barbara Kirkmeyer and Kyle Mullica, Rep. Marc Snyder, and others.

Why?

To invest, to inform, and to influence. When our voice is heard by those who affect policy, there are meaningful outcomes for our profession.

We are supporting a positive legislative environment for the accounting and finance profession, our clients, our employers, our organizations, and other stakeholders.
