Sheila Balzer is an assurance partner with SingerLewak in Denver, Colorado. She works with credit unions, non-profit organizations, employee benefit plans, HUD projects, real estate companies, franchisors, and professional and closely held corporations in a variety of industries. Sheila is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Denver and holds Bachelor of science and Masters’ degrees in Accountancy. Her professional and civic activities include serving as a member of the Board of Directors of the AICPA, past member of the Accounting and Review Services Committee (standard setting body), past Chair of the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants, Board Member of the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants, Past Chair of the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants Educational Foundation, AICPA Council member, and chairing the Chatfield Senior High and Columbine High School Business Advisory Committee. Sheila was selected as one of six Women to Watch in the accounting profession in Colorado in 2012. Sheila's interests include spending time with her two daughters, coaching two softball teams and reading, as well as, being a diehard Bronco and Avalanche fan.

Marc Hendrikson brings over three decades of diversified corporate lending, finance and accounting experience to Sunflower Bank, N.A. Focused primarily on contracting and manufacturing, Marc has served clients in a variety of areas including wholesale supply, non-profits, medical, and general business and retail services. Prior to joining Sunflower, Marc was with two prominent Denver based community banks for over 19 years. Prior to becoming a commercial banker, he held various accounting, finance and commercial credit positions with other prominent banks and a credit union in the Denver market. Marc graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Regis University in Denver in 1996 (magna cum laude) and received an M.B.A. in finance and accounting from Regis in 2000. He currently maintains an active CPA license in Colorado, is one of only a handful of bankers nationwide to hold the Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) credential and is a Chartered Global Management and Accountant (CGMA). Marc believes in going the extra mile for his business clients and enjoys coaching and educating them through the process to ensure the best possible fit. As a CPA and CCIFP, he speaks the language of business and construction and enjoys analyzing financial reporting models to assist his clients at the highest possible level.
