Dinners from Scratch: A Group Volunteer Experience at Ronald McDonald House Charities

Looking for a meaningful way to give back? Join us for Dinners from Scratch—a hands-on opportunity to support families staying at Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). This experience is guided by our expert Culinary Managers, who make the process simple, enjoyable, and impactful.

Together, your group will prepare a comforting, nutritious meal for families with hospitalized children—providing not just food, but a sense of care and community. While this isn’t a formal cooking class, our Culinary Managers will provide everything you need to succeed.

This is more than just making dinner—it’s making a difference.

What to Expect:

• Work alongside our Culinary Manager to prepare and serve a buffet-style meal.
• Enjoy the option to sit down and dine with families staying at RMHC.
• Create 10–15 to-go meals with leftovers for families who can’t attend dinner.
• End the evening with cleanup and a quick wrap-up so our House stays warm and welcoming for all.
