Unstuck & Unstoppable: Everything You Need to Know About the COCPA Coaching Collaborative
What if you had a trusted space — just for accounting professionals — to get real guidance on the things that matter most? Not another CPE course. Not a generic leadership seminar. Actual coaching, in a small group, with people who understand the profession you're in.
That's exactly what the COCPA Coaching Collaborative (CCC) is designed to be. And if you want a front-row introduction, there's no better place to start than the upcoming free webinar: Unstuck & Unstoppable: Introducing the COCPA Coaching Collaborative, taking place on April 30, 2026, from 11:00–11:30 AM MDT.
What's the Webinar About?
This free, 30-minute virtual event is your chance to get an inside look at the CCC before committing to a cohort. The introductory event will walk you through what CCC is, how it works, and how it can help you advance your career, navigate transitions, and find clarity in your personal and professional life. cocpa All three cohort coaches will be on hand to share what their programs are about and answer questions.
It's complimentary, it's conversational, and it could be the 30 minutes that changes the direction of your year. You can register directly on the COCPA website.
So, What Is the COCPA Coaching Collaborative?
The COCPA Coaching Collaborative offers targeted, small-group experiences led by expert coaches who understand the accounting profession inside and out. cocpa Whether you're building your firm, planning for what comes after your career, or trying to figure out how to thrive as a working parent in a demanding profession, CCC was built with you in mind.
Here's the structure: each cohort combines three private one-on-one coaching sessions with three collaborative group sessions — giving you both personalized guidance and the power of peer connection. Groups are intentionally kept small — just 5 to 10 members — so the experience is intimate and high-quality, not a webinar with a chat box.
All registrants also earn 3 CPE credit hours upon completion, and the special member rate is $997 for the full program (six sessions total).
New cohorts are launching in Spring 2026, so now is the time to learn more and get signed up.
Meet the Coaches
The CCC's coaches aren't just credentialed — they're professionals who have lived the profession and made the pivot to helping others navigate it.

Doug Slaybaugh is the founder of The CPA Coach and brings both a CPA license and a Professional Certified Coach credential to every engagement. The Three Cohorts
Each cohort is led by one of the coaches above and targets a distinct professional need:
Retirement by Design, led by Kenya Haupt, is designed for accountants who are approaching retirement or starting to think about what's next. The focus isn't just on logistics — it's on designing a life filled with purpose and intention after decades in the profession.
CPA Practice Strategies, led by Doug Slaybaugh, is built for firm leaders who recognize that the traditional public accounting model is under pressure. Participants will explore the underlying constraints preventing growth, compressing margins, and creating unnecessary pressure on themselves and their teams — and work toward a more intentional, effective strategy.
Kids and Careers, led by Carla Greenan, is a small-group coaching circle for ambitious working moms in professional services. It's designed to help participants move from chaos to calm confidence — not by doing more, but by redefining success on their own terms and setting boundaries that stick.
