Honoring Everyday Heroes & Heroine

The Everyday Heroes & Heroine Awards recognize CPAs whose impact extends far beyond their day-to-day work. These honorees exemplify integrity, compassion, and a deep commitment to their communities — often making a difference quietly, consistently, and without expectation of recognition.

Celebrating Women to Watch

Looking back on this year also means celebrating the leaders shaping the future of the profession. The Women to Watch Awards honor women whose vision, innovation, and dedication are paving the way forward.

Earlier this year, we also had the privilege of welcoming new CPAs into the profession — a milestone moment that never loses its significance. Earning the CPA credential represents years of hard work, perseverance, and commitment to excellence.

Battle of the Brains: Community, Competition & Giving Back

One of the most memorable moments of the evening was Battle of the Brains, where alumni from Colorado colleges and universities came together for some friendly competition — all in support of the Educational Foundation of the Colorado Society of CPAs.

Thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of our community:

• 💙 $8,136 was raised from 35 donors
• 🏆 Colorado State University – Fort Collins took top honors, raising $4,300

As we reflect on the year, this moment stands out as a perfect example of what happens when professional pride and philanthropy come together.
