Congratulations to Jeffrey Damm, CPA, who was recently chosen to serve as 2025-26 president of the Educational Foundation of the COCPA Board of Trustees.
Damm, who is senior director – financial planning and analysis with SM Energy in Denver, has held various accounting and auditing roles within the oil and gas industry. As a recurring guest lecturer for master’s-level accounting courses at his alma mater, Colorado State University, Damm has long been committed to advocating for the accounting profession and supporting those who are pursuing an accounting career.
Alongside Damm in his role as 2025-26 Educational Foundation president, Todd Mihelich, CPA, CGMA, who is an audit shareholder and vice president with McPherson, Goodrich, Paolucci & Mihelich, PC, in Pueblo, will serve as vice president. Blaise Wabo, CPA, CITP, CISA, CCP (CMMC), CCSK, CCSFP, healthcare and financial services knowledge leader with A-LIGN, Denver, will serve as treasurer, and Stephanie E. Daniels, CPA, MAcc, is immediate past president. Daniels is the assistant controller with HCA HealthONE Presbyterian St. Luke's, Denver.
Also serving as 2025-26 Educational Foundation trustees are Laurie J. Corradino, CPA, Ph.D., Colorado State University, Pueblo; Sarah Flischel, CPA, AAFCPAs, Denver; Paula Mann, CPA, MT, Western Colorado University, Gunnison; Karla Willschau, CPA, retired, Alamosa; Justin Schmitz, CPA, EY LLP, Denver; and ex-officio Alicia Gelinas, CPA, COCPA, Glendale.
