Everyday Hero & Heroine Nominees should demonstrate significant service in one or more of the following areas:
Involvement: Describe the nominee’s level(s) of involvement, length of involvement, and time devoted to non-profit organization(s) and community activities.
Leadership: Describe the nominee’s position(s) held and substantial accomplishments achieved in a community organization, including taking the lead in identifying and solving a problem, founding or rescuing an organization, or developing an innovative program.
Impact: Describe how the nominee’s actions benefited the community, improved overall quality of life, helped others overcome adversity, or served as a role model for CPAs exemplifying the profession’s core values of integrity, competency, and objectivity.
Women to Watch nominees should fall into one of the categories below:
LEADERS OF NOTE
Defined as one who has advanced to a higher level or leadership position within an organization.
Titles include, but are not limited to, partner, owner, elected official or appointee, executive, etc.
EMERGING LEADERS
Defined as a professional who has made a significant contribution to the profession and her community, but who has not yet reached the highest levels of advancement.
