Kathryn has over 20 years experience in consulting and industry advising CFOs, CIOs and other executives through their most complicated process, systems, and organizational transformation initiatives. Kathryn’s experience in Corporate Finance and deep knowledge of leading practices and industry benchmarks helps companies manage large programs aiming to develop world-class functional organizations that are purpose-built, efficient and execute against defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Her area of focus includes enterprise digital transformation from defining the strategy through identifying the economic value of implementing select digital initiatives. Kathryn’s programs often focus on enabling finance transformation leveraging digital capabilities such as Robotics Process Automation (RPA).
Prior to joining Deloitte, Kathryn focused on Financial Planning and Analysis and Cost Accounting at Lockheed Martin. She has Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Chicago as well as an MBA from the University of Denver.

AJ Maxwell is a Senior Manager in our Energy practice focused on Digital Transformation. He has more than 12 years of experience helping clients transform their financial and operational systems, processes and controls. He has helped lead and manage many large scale transformation initiatives for companies in the Energy industry, including projects around transaction readiness, end-to-end process assessment and design, implementation of initiatives to remediate/optimize/standardize processes, system implementations, risk assessment and risk management, and internal control design, rationalization, and assurance.
Today AJ is focused on helping companies implement innovative digital solutions to transform their processes. AJ helps lead Deloitte’s Robotic and Cognitive Automation practice for the Energy industry.

We typically meet in the Denver Tech Center, at the offices of the Colorado Society of CPAs. Following a continental breakfast, which allows time to network with other finance and accounting managers and executives, we move on to a roundtable presentation and discussion. Come and share knowledge on current trends, best practices, leadership, and experiences that will help us grow as a community!
