Each year, the Colorado Society of CPAs stands together to celebrate the extraordinary individuals within our profession who go above and beyond – those who create positive change in their workplaces, communities and beyond. At the 2025 “CPAs Make a Difference” gala, we are proud to honor two distinguished award groups: the Everyday Heroes & Heroines, and the Women to Watch (Emerging Leaders & Leaders of Note). These professionals exemplify the purpose behind the numbers: leadership, service and impact.

Meet our 2025 Everyday Heroes & Heroine

Behind every ledger, every audit and every tax return, there are CPAs who quietly make an outsized difference—mentoring a team, volunteering in their local community, guiding a non-profit through financial uncertainty or innovating how business is done. The Everyday Heroes & Heroines award acknowledges those who silently change businesses and lives.

This year’s winners represent the very best of that spirit. We salute their dedication, their humility and their commitment to making a meaningful difference. Their stories remind us that excellence in accounting isn’t only about technical skill—it’s about people, purpose and progress.

Meet our 2025 Women to Watch

As our profession evolves, so too must our leadership. The Women to Watch awards shine a spotlight on women who are shaping the future of accounting—either as rising stars (Emerging Leaders) or as established trailblazers (Leaders of Note) who are mentoring others, driving change and pushing boundaries.

We celebrate this year’s honorees for their accomplishments, their leadership and their promise for what’s ahead. They remind us that leadership comes in many forms—and that a profession thrives when it draws on all of its talent and perspectives.
