Alexandra (Alexie) Tune, CPA, MAcc — COCPA Board Chair
Alexandra Tune serves as Chair of the COCPA Board of Directors and is a Managing Director in Deloitte LLP’s audit practice. She leads Deloitte’s Denver Office Private Audit, Technology, and Emerging Growth Practices, helping guide clients through complex business transformations and growth.
A proud University of Denver graduate with both a BSBA in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy, Alexie’s leadership extends far beyond her firm. She currently chairs the DU School of Accountancy Advisory Board and serves on the Denver Scholarship Foundation Audit and Finance Committee. Her passion for education and mentorship has also driven her involvement with organizations such as Open World Learning, College Summit Colorado, and the Alliance of Professional Women.
A 2022 recipient of COCPA’s Everyday Heroine Award, Alexie exemplifies the very best of the profession—dedication to excellence, lifelong learning, and a commitment to service.
Jim Gilbert, CPA, CITP, CGMA — COCPA Board Treasurer
Jim Gilbert, principal of Jim Gilbert, CPA, LLP in Highlands Ranch, serves as Treasurer of the COCPA Board of Directors. With extensive experience in entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, and business transitions, Jim brings a strategic and forward-thinking mindset to every client relationship.
A passionate advocate for technology and innovation in the profession, Jim has been a driving force in helping CPAs embrace automation and digital tools. Over his two decades as a COCPA member, he has served in a variety of volunteer leadership roles, including as a founding member of the COCPA Technology Users Group, as well as a past chair of the AICPA’s CITP Credential Committee and CITP Credential Champions Group. Jim is also a frequent speaker on technology topics for the CPA profession.
Jim is a 2024 recipient of COCPA’s Everyday Hero Award. When he’s not advancing the profession, Jim enjoys traveling, working out, and spending time with his family.
