2025-26 COCPA Board of Directors Begins its Work; Tune Assumes Chair Role

Effective May 1, 2025, the 2025-26 COCPA Board of Directors begins its term, with Alexandra Tune, CPA, assuming the Chair role.
Tune leads Deloitte’s Denver Office Audit & Advisory Technology and Emerging Growth Practices, specializing in the technology, healthcare, and health technology industries. She brings to the COCPA Board more than 25 years of experience in the profession, working in a variety of roles.
Passionate about education, Tune serves as the DU School of Accountancy Advisory Board Chair and serves on the Denver Scholarship Foundation’s Audit and Finance Committee. She also serves on the boards of Open World Learning, College Summit Colorado, and the Alliance of Professional Women.
In addition to having served as vice chair/chair-elect on the 2024-25 COCPA Board of Directors, she is a past president of the COCPA Educational Foundation Board of Trustees, a 2022 Everyday Heroine, and has served on the Women to Watch Award selection committee.
Also beginning a COCPA Board term on May 1 is COCPA Vice Chair/Chair-Elect Alexandria "Alex" Romero, CPA, MPAcc. Romero is a governmental and leadership training facilitator with Galasso Learning Solutions, Pueblo.
Newly elected directors-at-large are Paul Elggren, CPA, Crowe LLP, Denver; Tiffany Knight, CPA, Kundinger, Corder, & Montoya, P.C, Denver; and community member Dana Lambert, Ph.D., LPC, LPT, Colorado State University, Pueblo.

Serving as ex-officio Emerging Professionals Initiative Committee (EPIC) representative is Hannah Thaw, CPA, City and County of Denver Auditor’s Office.
