About the Program

Lead the Future of Accounting on Your Campus

The COCPA Student Ambassador Program is a student leadership opportunity sponsored by the COCPA Educational Foundation. As a Student Ambassador, you'll connect fellow students with scholarships, mentoring, CPA resources, and professional opportunities while building leadership experience and strengthening Colorado's future CPA pipeline.

Program TermAugust through the academic year (summer excluded)
Time CommitmentApproximately 3–5 hours per month
EligibilityAccounting students interested in leadership, outreach, and promoting the profession
Student Ambassador Stipend$250 per semester (adjusted for quarter-system schools)

What You Can Expect From the Program

As a Student Ambassador, you'll serve as a peer leader and campus connector while helping students discover opportunities and strengthen Colorado's future CPA pipeline.

Campus Outreach

  • Promote COCPA student membership
  • Support classroom visits and faculty outreach
  • Represent COCPA during campus events

Student Engagement

  • Share scholarships, mentoring, and CPA resources
  • Promote member benefits and COCPA events
  • Serve as a peer resource for fellow students

Program Participation

  • Attend a virtual orientation
  • Participate in ambassador meetings
  • Support campus events and provide program feedback

Relationship Building
