Fellow Membership Options

Fellow Member

Current: $510/Year or $42.50/MONTH

  • CPA in good standing with a license in active status with the Colorado State Board of Accountancy or another jurisdiction

Inactive Fellow (NEW starting May 1, 2026)

Retired CPA

Accounting or Finance Professional

Student Membership

Student

Requirements:
  • Part-time or full-time student in a post-secondary business program at a college or university that satisfies the academic preparation requirements for taking the Uniform CPA Examination

Membership dues payments are deductible for most members as an ordinary and necessary business expense. However, the COCPA estimates that 3.59 percent of the dues payment is not deductible as a business expense because of COCPA’s lobbying activities on behalf of its members. Membership dues include a $5.00 annual subscription to NewsAccount. Contributions or gifts to the COCPA or to the CPA Political Action Committee are not tax deductible for income tax purposes. Contributions to the Educational Foundation of the COCPA, a 501(c)(3) entity, are tax deductible as charitable contributions.
