Cynthia Wadle’s professional journey has taken her from the oil and gas sector, next to banking, and finally to the nonprofit world, with a stop along the way as a part-time tax preparer while raising her family. After spending 14 years with the Anchor Center for Blind Children, during which the organization’s budget grew from $70,000 to $1.5 million, she was named Director of Finance and Operations with the Colorado Consumer Health Initiative, where she remains today. Join us as Cynthia shares lessons learned from her years as a woman CPA during the ‘80s and ‘90s, as she navigated pitfalls, pursued continuing education, and built upon her experience to find her professional passion.
*Join us each month for the Young Professionals Council series, Oh the Places You Can Go as a CPA, as we explore the many career paths that the CPA designation affords.
